Dr. Kristina Lillakas is originally from the Greater Toronto Area. Upon graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2013 she relocated to Ottawa to work as an emergency veterinarian. Following her time in emergency medicine she made the transition to general practice. In 2015 she realized that as much as she loved Ottawa, there is just no place like home and made the move back to the GTA. Back in Toronto, she took a position as a companion animal veterinarian working at a downtown animal hospital. During her time in clinic she continued to develop her medical skills while at the same time beginning to see that for some patients, and some clients, in-home veterinary care would be an ideal alternative to classic in-clinic visits.  This is what began the journey that lead to the launch of Lakeshore Mobile Veterinary Services in the fall of 2018!

When not busy taking care of her furry patients she enjoys playing volleyball, horseback riding, practicing yoga, travelling and spending time with friends and family.

She is also extremely  proud of her Estonian heritage and is an active member in the Toronto Estonian community. 

 She shares her home with her three “children” – two cats named Gracie and Nashville and a

Coonhound named Poiss.
